Dog Toys

Dog Toys

Dogs need lots of toys to capture their attention and let them work out aggression and energy by chewing and playing; dog toys are also essential to make sure they don't become bored.

Anything you can throw and they can fetch is a good choice, like tennis balls or plastic discs. Dog toys can also be something simple, like a rawhide chew bone or a plastic bottle. Dogs like toys that make noise, too, which makes plastic toys that squeak when squeezed a good choice. Getting involved in playing with your dog can also be a good exercise toy, like playing tug-of-war with a rope of plastic chew toy. Dogs love to sink their teeth into most anything, and tugging is a great way to get them active.

Dog toys can also utilize food as a treat, like balls that have treats inside, which make the dog work to get it out. Stuffed animals are a good dog toy choice, too, because dogs can show affection and cuddle with them, as well as shaking them to pieces. If your dog is also a water lover, floating dog toys are an excellent choice because it allows the dog to chase the floatable toy, as well as wet their fur at the same time.
